Like a number of you, my daughter got scammed by this guy. She had been going there for years when he asked her to pay $800 in advance for a new computer and 2 monitors in September. It’s now December, no new computer, no monitors, no refund despite promise after promise. She’s so frustrated she’s tried to involve the police. However the police will respond to a store that has been robbed, but they will not when a store robs a customer!

I am very displeased with the service I recieved at this repair center. You are better off paying more at a more reputable company.
Originally I went here because it was close and I was desperate. I spilled water on my laptop and I needed it for courses. He charged me around $200 to "repair" the motherboard. A week later I picked up the laptop and all seemed well. I was informed that one of the ports didn't work but the other was still good to use. A few days later I came back because my laptop was severely overheating and stopped charging. He said that the other port needed to be replaced and it would be another $120 for both ports. I said to go ahead and order the parts since I still needed my laptop. After a week I still hadn't heard back from him and so I went to visit and he said he had forgotten and that he would order it that day and it should come in soon. I went back a few days later and he said it would be a week because he had to order it from somewhere else. I came back another week later and he said it still wasn't there and he would call me. I called him everyday and he did not answer. I showed up a few times and it was always closed despite being during business hours. Eventually I gave up and had to buy a new laptop. This was not worth my time, effort, or money. I was out of a laptop for weeks while being promised that my current one could be fixed.

Very lousy service.
I had an issue with the charging port on my laptop and brought it in to the PC Repair Centre on a friends recommendation. I had already changed the battery myself and suspected a motherboard issue with the port.
He agreed the motherboard was the problem when we brought it in. He then charged $250 in advance, and three days later called to say the laptop was ready. The laptop still would not charge, when we brought it back in to let him know, he said the port was a separate issue from the motherboard (this is objectively untrue) and asked us for $80 to fix the port. This is very disappointing and it seems that he thought we were naive and took advantage. I am now out of $250 and will still need to pay more to get it looked at. Don’t go to this business if you value your money, there are better in Hamilton!!

BEWARE MAC STUDENTS.
This computer repair shop took my money and did not provide the promised service. I was asked to pay $450 upfront to repair my MacBook Pro. After two months with no progress, I had to repeatedly demand my laptop back. Only after threatening to report a theft as he refused to give me my lawful property did I finally get my computer returned.
I was promised a full refund, which I still have not received. I then brought my MacBook Pro to a reputable-repair shop and was told that my computer had been further damaged during the time it was at this business. The laptop was not fixed, my money was not returned and my computer...BEWARE MAC STUDENTS.

I am now filing a police report, as I do not want anyone else—especially students—to lose money the way I did. Do NOT PAY UPFRONT and do not use the PC REPAIR SHOP. This business has scammed many customers, just read the reviews.

It really seems like this store is a complete scam, especially after reading other recent reviews. My sisters android tablet was about a year old and stopped charging. We took it to this shop and the owner charged us around 160 dollars. He took my sisters phone number and told her he would call her when it was done. He didn’t call her, we had to go to the store and check on it multiple times, at one point he said he lost her phone number, we gave it to him again and still no call. After he put one part in he told us it wasn’t fixed and it needed another part. For the second part he said it would be 80$ by this point we were all fed up and my grandpa who was paying talked him down to around 40$. Again we received no call around the time it should have been done so we returned to the store. This time he told us he gave the tablet to his brother to fix and we would have to go to downtown king street to retrieve it. We got it and it worked again. Only 1 month later the same problem happened and it won’t charge again. My grandpa decided it wasn’t worth it to go again and to just bite the bullet. Also his shop smells like pure cigarettes which isn’t a huge problem but is also very unprofessional. He seemed like a nice guy but the service was absolutely terrible. Please go anywhere else.
