Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Nathan about my front door that is seized and won’t open. He was very helpful and understanding. He offered me a virtual consultation for Monday, but when it was clear how hard that would be for me to make given my profession as a Realtor, he did the virtual evaluation on the spot. He was very knowledgeable and patient and respectful of my inexperience with door problem of this nature. His team is coming out Monday in the evening to fix my front door at what would be most convenient in my schedule. Details make or break what is or isn't a good job. This was just a simple job, replace a out building door. Not only does it match the siding on the building, it lines up with it as well. The new door is solidly built, metal brackets on each corner bolted into place. It's all old school hard work ethics, at a really fair price. With all the details that I have seen, They turned a simple job into a great job.

Overall a positive experience. I had them remove some cabinets, run electricity and plumbing, and install a dishwasher for me. Thomas came for my initial consultation which required us to go into the crawlspace and while he was down there he noticed an air conditioning duct had become disconnected from the vent which he repaired for me, free of charge. Thomas was also available for follow up questions and picked up several after hours phone calls as I was trying to coordinate the delivery of my dishwasher, make sure I ordered the right parts for installation, etc.. The men who performed the work were friendly and professional, I was working from home in another room during the installation and they were mindful and considerate of any interruptions, knocking when they needed something and being patient if I needed to finish a call or something. At one point I heard one of the guys remind the other one to be careful opening the door because of my cat, which I appreciated. The technical work itself was good, and so far the dishwasher is working perfectly with no issues. The electricians who came also installed an overhead light/fan for me, also free of charge. The final invoice came in exactly at the amount they quoted me so there were no unpleasant surprises money wise, and I feel like I got good bang for my buck with these guys. I removed one star because of difficulties I had scheduling my appointment and for some aesthetic things with the final result. They cancelled my first appointment day-of and it took me several weeks and multiple times of reaching out to hear back from them about rescheduling. I only had a second to look at the finished product before they left because I had people waiting on a call for me, so partly my fault for not catching it while they were here, but I noticed after they left that the dishwasher was not installed level and there is a visible uneven gap at the top which will now be a little weekend project for me to adjust. All in all I would work with Parahome again but would consider a different company for projects that are very time-sensitive or where aesthetics are a top priority.

Sam and Thomas did a great job replacing rotten boards on my deck and securing the stairs too. They fixed a shelf on a kitchen cabinet that has been broken for 2 years. Also fixed a shutter on the 2nd floor that had blown off. Work was done quickly and well. I have to mention that I filled out three contact forms for handyman help on my deck. Parahome is the only one that bothered to call. The only one that followed up and gave me a quote. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job. They will be cleaning and painting my deck next so will update but so far beyond pleased.

Parahome sent someone over the next day to fix so the painters could stay on track. Very impressed. The sanding and painting were done with attention to detail and neatly by the crew.

While we understand that costs can increase, we were told we could receive last year’s rate only if we put down a deposit (which wasn't required the first time), left a review, and agreed to place a sign in our yard. That felt like a lot of extra conditions just to receive the same pricing.
The project ended up requiring multiple visits. After the first appointment, there were issues that needed additional adjustments, and some finish details had to be pointed out to be corrected....We worked with Parahome last year and had a positive experience, which is why we decided to hire them again. This time, however, the pricing was noticeably higher. A second technician returned to address those concerns, but even after that visit, there were still minor issues remaining. At that point, we simply wanted the project to be done (one-day job had been drawn out to nearly a week at that point) and we did not feel we should need to schedule yet another appointment. Based on the overall experience, we weren’t eager to continue the back-and-forth.
We also requested a quote for another project doing the same work, but were told the previous rate would not be honored and that the new, higher pricing would apply. As returning customers, we were surprised there wasn’t more flexibility or explanation around that.
We appreciate that they did return to address our concerns. However, for the price paid, we expected a smoother, more seamless process without multiple appointments or lingering adjustments. The job was mostly completed, but the experience was more frustrating and time-consuming than anticipated.

I had a good experience with Para Home Solutions. Allen was my technician, and he did an excellent job from start to finish. He was professional, efficient, and paid close attention to detail.
What really stood out was how thorough he was. He removed all the old materials and boxes and made sure everything was placed back exactly where it belonged. He left the space clean and organized, which I truly appreciated.
The pricing was reasonable, and the quality of work exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.
