ORTEGA TRANSMISSION AND AUTO SHOP

I took my truck to Ortega transmission to rebuild my transmission they charged me $2100, two weeks later the transmission failed & started slipping bad, so I brought it back and they charged me another $200.. less than a month later the transmission failed again and they wanted ANOTHER $550 (i had warranty but they didn’t honor it) I picked it back up from Ortega after spending $2300 and still have a bad transmission!! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL **SCAM** you!! I have it at another transmission shop STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN

Ortega did work on 2011 corolla came for serpentine belt but needed replacement of alternator. He does allow you too outsource parts. Brought part he replaced then shortly after told me the radiator line was no good need to replace. Not sure what happened. But this broke once I brought to shop didn't have a problem with that he did fix the issue at no cost to me. Does good work. My only suggestion is fix only what customer came for originally for and print diagnostic or suggestion for other repair. This mechanic is useless, he is a scammer, he tells you that he puts new parts on the car and that's not true. That's what happened. He charged me 2800 to change 4 oxygen sensors, Full tuneup and a new AC compressor. He kept it for 3 weeks and every time I would call to ask how was it coming with the vehicle he would say that he was waiting for a part. He said that if he couldn’t get the compressor he would refund me which he never did. He charged me for a new ac compressor and never put a new one he used the one I bought.
