Awe, deep gratitude and at least 500 stars for Oakley Restoration and Finishing, especially Bill, Nathan and Josh. They worked on a sentimental family heirloom, a large 1890s mahogany dining room table, well loved, heavily used, but worn, tired, sway-backed and needing repair and finishing so I could gift it to the youngest of our 5 children as a housewarming present. Yes, you will cringe when you see the before photo and wonder what was she THINKING?? The final photo shows the skill inherent in the artisan team at Oakley, but not the most important part. I am so lucky to have found them (I’d cut out a newspaper article about them in 2009...

I had a 70 year coffee table with a mahogany and fruit wood veneer top refinished by Oakley Restoration. The top had very bad water damage. The piece came out beautifully. I put a glass top on it to preserve the new finish. I’m having them do additional work for me. I highly recommend them. Posted are before and after photos.

Bill and his team did an amazing job re-fitting the frame, and re-rushing the seat, bringing our 114 year-old Stickley rocker back to life.

I am so very grateful to the team at Oakley Restoration & Finishing for the incredible work they did on my family dining table. It was in my grandparents home where we shared every Thanksgiving, Christmas and many special events with them, my parents and sisters, our aunts, uncles and cousins. My husband and I moved the table to our home 40 years ago and the celebrations continued! That's a lot of years of wear and tear but you would never know now. I have a lifetime of memories around this table that now has been restored to it's gleaming beauty.
