We had NIS install sod and sprinklers in our backyard late March/early April. Kalan and his team transformed our dirt/weed backyard into a beautiful park-like yard in a few days. The team was punctual, focused, competent, and polite. They cared about the work they were doing. They showed up early and worked until the job was done. Tested and adjusted all the sprinklers. They cleaned up after themselves. Kalan was flexible in making last minute adjustments. It was a pleasure to work with Kalan and his crew. Reasonable cost.

I have used this company for many years now. It was a great company before they sold to Kalan. Ever since, it has gone downhill. I asked them to replace three sprinkler heads. They came out and I got a phone call while I was at work and was told that I needed at least 25 sprinklers replace. He said he was doing a survey of the sprinkler system. I did not ask for that. All I needed was the three sprinklers fixed. (See Pictures)
While on the phone the owner called me and started to get sharp with me and belittling me about what I needed. I listened to him for awhile, I had to hang up on him because he started to yell at me. As you can see in the picture, he called me at 2:02 pm. I hung up on him and he persisted in calling me back to harass me while I was at work.
As you can see in this picture this is the three that needed replaced. I came home to this with the water running and he did not replace the sprinklers at all. I had to go shut the water off to get the water to quit running. I had another company come out and he fixed the running water by turning the valve release nobs.
I emailed him about the water running and nothing fixed and felt that we should not owe anything because nothing was done. The phone log shows he called me after hours and started to yell and threatened me about the bill yelling at me and telling me if I didn’t pay, he would put a lien on my house. I told him we would pay, which we did, and did not need his kind of service any longer.
The bottom line is he is unprofessional and very rude.
