Despite positive reviews, this place tried to rip me off.
I called after a holiday weekend where my truck (2006 Ram 2500 Cummins 48re) refused to shift down into first. I made the mistake of mentioning that the transmission was rebuilt 5k miles ago by a different shop (far away, so I couldn’t go back there easily for warranty). Joe said “come right in and we will do a complete free diagnosis”. I brought the truck to him and he called back an hour later saying the transmission was junk and needed a $4700 rebuild. When I asked how he decided it was junk, he said nothing that indicated he had even glanced under the truck. A flurry of sales pit...Despite positive reviews, this place tried to rip me off.

Joe said “come right in and we will do a complete free diagnosis”. I brought the truck to him and he called back an hour later saying the transmission was junk and needed a $4700 rebuild. When I asked how he decided it was junk, he said nothing that indicated he had even glanced under the truck. A flurry of sales pitches followed. “I don’t know what that other shop did, they’re probably hacks” and “they use cheap parts, but of course I use good quality parts”. I didn’t like the sound of any of this, so I picked up the truck.
I later borrowed a scan tool from a friend and the truck had a P1756 code for a failed solenoid, a VERY SIMPLE repair. (Yes, they would’ve seen this immediately if they plugged in a scan tool) Just drop the fluid pan and plug in the new part, says the internet. I bought a name brand quality solenoid on Amazon for $50 and decided to attempt it myself, despite never touching a transmission in my life. It couldn’t have been easier. Took me less than an hour in my driveway and the truck has never missed a shift in 8k miles since!
They clearly tried to take advantage of me and sell me an entire rebuild. That’s pretty scummy, and for that they get one star.

Back in July I had issues with my Automatic Honda Civic. It wouldn't go into any gears so I took it to a Transmission Shop in Riverside. The Mechanic said my car needed to have the rebuilt and the Timing Belt done. It would cost about $3,000. I decided to have a second opinion so I took it to Norco Transmission. I meet the owner Joe who said he'll take a look at it. He said the Transmission is find. It just needed to be serviced as of changing the Transmission Oil and to replace the front and rear Sensors. After that my car ran as good as new. Joe is an Honest Mechanic. He wasn't there to make money off my Transmission but to fix what n...Back in July I had issues with my Automatic Honda Civic. Joe's a great guy and will take care in fixing any transmission problems you have. My 5-speed Cummins had the classic 5th gear issue, brought the unit in, Joe had it cleanly rebuilt and back to me immediately. Shifts smooth as butter, feels great-truck and I couldn't be happier.
