The technician was very competent and had the fireplace working in a short time. It is an old model and he patiently showed me how to ignite the gas fireplace. Even though it is working I will likely replace with a newer model and a remote. Nicholas Chimney gave me some suggestions and an estimate. I highly recommend this company. They are polite, responsive and competent.
Highly recommend..Great service! The technician was extremely thorough. My mother is elderly and needed her Dryer Vent cleaned cause it was clogged. Took time to speak with her and I, replaced the duct going into the dryer. I like local businesses and I will be calling them to service my Gas fireplace soon.
We used Nicholas chimney the 15 years that we owned our Vienna home. They did everything from chimney sweeping to installing a new wood stove and chimney sleeve to remediating damage from a chimney fire (my fault, not theirs). They are dependable, they do terrific work, and their prices are very good considering the level of service they provide. We're moving back to the area now, and will be a returning customer for Nicholas Chimney. They are excellent; if I could give them six stars, I would.
