New Gild is a wonderful jewelers in Minneapolis! They created a beautiful wedding band for myself and husband using a few heirloom stones 5 years ago. I recently had my engagement ring’s prongs repaired (originally set by another large jewelry company). New Gild handled the repair with expertise and provided great advice on how to maintain my rings moving forward. Really grateful for such a quality business!
Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and very helpful— trying to figure out how to repair my ring had been stressful, but it was no issue for their expertise! What we needed also ended up being less expensive than expected which was a nice bonus! Very happy to have come across this place and will likely work with them in the future too!
My now wife and I worked with Jen to create our wedding sets (two engagement rings, two bands) last year. We wanted Montana sapphire rings in a specific color that showed our distinct preferences while still clearly coordinating. Jen and the entire New Gild team were phenomenal through the entire process, from sourcing stones to design to altering the design and executing the rings. We gave an approximate budget at the beginning (knowing we might go over) and got exactly what we wanted, all in budget. When our rings were too big, she suggested adding gold balls to the inside, and they fit perfectly now. We are so happy with our rings and we l... Kim in her team are the most talented, diligent and brilliant designers and creators! They made a complex heirloom piece in time for my wedding, comprised of multiple recycled components. I still cannot believe how it turned out. We went to multiple other jewelers, but only New Gild were willing to take on the challenge. If you don't have a specific design in mind, they will create something for you, and they're amazing at helping you bring it to life!
My partner and I couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Kim and the New Gild staff! We recently had a custom engagement ring designed and crafted by the amazing team. The ring incorporated reused metal from an antique piece of jewelry from a family member and the design recommendations from Kim even incorporated aspects that played homage to the original piece.
