We've had my wife's grandparent's Grandfather clock for at least 8 years, probably hasn't run for at least 10 years. We live in Las Vegas, and we contacted Mt. Olympus. We arranged a time for have their tech come down to repair. We had Norm as our tech and he was able to bring the clock back to life. Very reasonably priced too! It's great to hear it chiming once again. The service was great, Norm was very friendly, helpful and gave us advice on how to keeping it well maintained and gave us a little bit of history too regarding grandfather clocks. Hopefully we will never need them again, but if we ever day, we will definitely call again. Thank you Norm and the folks at Mt. Olympus, outstanding work!

Great service, friendly staff, and super affordable. Just got a few watch batteries replaced for $10 and a watch re-sized for $10. A huge assortment of nutcrackers, grandfather clocks, cuckoo clock, and tons of special Christmas items. This is my new go-to watch repair spot for sure!

Wow—this was an extremely disappointing experience. I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to share this to warn others.
I brought in a cuckoo clock imported from Germany that arrived with shipping damage. I provided the shop with the exact replacement parts from the original German seller and clearly asked that the clock be repaired to its original condition and checked for additional damage.

I brought in a cuckoo clock imported from Germany that arrived with shipping damage. I provided the shop with the exact replacement parts from the original German seller and clearly asked that the clock be repaired to its original condition and checked for additional damage.
Because the shop said they needed guidance on how the clock originally looked, Amy asked me to email photos or a video to Joe (the manager). I was told the repair would take about one month. I sent a detailed video the same week, clearly pointing out every damaged and loose area.
Two days later, I was told the clock was already “finished.” I specifically asked whether the video had been reviewed and was asked to resend it. After resending, I was again told the repair was complete.
At pickup, I immediately found unrepaired damage. After a quick “fix” using only paint, I noticed something worse: a large clump of foliage had been added behind a tree—a feature that did not exist on the original clock. I was told this was added based on the repair person’s “best artistic judgment.”
The repair person then came out and admitted he had never watched the reference video at all, despite staff repeatedly assuring us that the repair was done according to it.
When we asked if the added foliage could be adjusted, the repair person roughly pressed it with his fingers, causing more leaves to fall off, and dismissed it as “a small issue.”
Manager Joe later minimized the situation, offered $20 compensation, stated he did not want to “waste more time over $20,” suggested the video might not reflect the original clock, and shifted responsibility to Amy. At no point was there accountability, the overall interaction felt dismissive, with frequent interruptions and no clear ownership or meaningful effort to correct the work.
If the video was unnecessary, why was it requested? If restoring the clock accurately was not possible, why accept the job?
To future customers: If accuracy, communication, and accountability matter to you, be very cautious. Once your item is in their hands, decisions are made based on their preference, not yours—and mistakes are minimized rather than owned.
Once you leave your clock here—good luck.
