8 weeks ago I decided to refresh my kitchen with new appliances, I am a first time homeowner with no clue to what the simple act of buying new appliances entailed. I got recommendations and I made appointments with not 1 but 3 plumber/electricians, I confirmed 3 appointments the day before and got 3 no shows. Excellent experience! Lorenzo is fantastic at communication, I never felt in the dark. I needed a new ceiling fan to replace an old one that no longer worked. I was able to describe what I wanted for the ceiling fan, sent him pictures, and he did the leg work of buying the right one. His employee Alex installed the ceiling fan, installed a new overhead fan in the bathroom that includes a light, and replaced the dryer vent cover outside when it was below zero! The Mr. Fix It team was very nice to work with. I hired them to install an exhaust fan in my bathroom, and vent it out to the exterior of the home. They also moved the existing light switch that was previously installed in a poor location. Lorenzo answered immediately when calling him the first time, and sent me a quote within a couple days of calling him. To get the quote, I simply had to send a few photos and answer a few questions about the home and what I wanted. This process was very easy and convenient. When our home insurance required that we replace a custom cellar door with very little notice, the Mr. Fix It team were a major help! We worked with Lorenzo, who not only got our door ordered an installed ahead of a major deadline, but came out on one of the coldest days to do it. We're relieved to have the door replaced, and very happy that we called them to do it. Definitely going back the next time we have a home improvement need.
