I had a repair man come out today and he quoted me the price of $800 just for parts for the repair of my Viking oven which is only 4 years old. He told me the only problem was the hinges in the door and each hinge would be $400. I was shocked! But I trusted him so I went ahead and agreed to purchase them through Mr Appliance. After the repair man left I felt like $1100 (which was how much he charged me for everything) was way too much. I immediately called the Viking distributor myself and was able to get the hinges for $200 a piece. I called Mr Appliance office directly and asked to cancel my order that the repair man put in.
