My first visit was a pleasant surprise. I had heard great things about their honesty and fair prices, and I was not disappointed. I had been advised by a “reputable” shop after checking my battery that my car needed an alternator. Eeks! That’s EXPENSIVE. So the car sat for at least 9 months as I figured out the finance. Then I was informed about Moore’s. After calling and talking with STEVE he suggested I use my AAA membership and have it towed to him. 2 hours later, Steve calls to say I never needed an alternator instead I needed a battery!!!! $$$$ cheaper! It’s been 7 years and we still take our vehicles to Moore’s. If I could give 6 ⭐️ I would. State inspections are currently not available. If you are in need of affordable, timely & professional automotive services? I recommend Moore’s Auto Repair in Newport News. Services are done in a timely manner and right the first time. We have no plans on taking our vehicles anywhere else. It’s a hidden gem in plain sight. I am “so” thankful Moore’s Auto Repair was recommended to us🙏🏽.

The most honest auto repair shop. Steve is always nice, helpful and very personable . I never doubt any of my repairs . If Steve says I need something done never questioned him . His father was a fair and righteous man . Just a great place to have your car worked on

Mr. Moore is a stand up guy. I've had very satisfactory experiences with his business. He doesn't do inspections anymore, but he referred me to another business for this need and his referral was spot on. Shout out to Mr. Moore!
