My wife hired Moonglow appliance because our almost 3-year old whirlpool washing machine was not working. They charged us $125, diagnosed that the lock had failed and needed replacing. Another $350 to do that. So I went on Amazon, found the part for $25, looked at a YouTube video and installed it in 15 minutes. But the washer still didn't work. Turns out, Whirlpool had a recall on this machine for a motherboard failure, and they were replacing them for free, which I had them do. Now when I call the owner of Moonglow about the board, and questioned him, being the pro his is, about knowing the recall and replacement, he said it was not his re... Hummmm, make you wonder how pro he really is. Anyway I feel he misdiagnosed the problem and ripped us off and wanted even more money to fix a minor repair. Not cool. I would never hire them again for any appliance repair.
