My beat up looked old and worn after seven years of high use. I’ve had them shined at airports but didn’t much help to counter the worn look. I decided to try a shoe repair shop since having them polished cost far less than buying new. To my pleasant surprise when I picked up my shoes they looked brand new. I couldn’t see the worn areas that I thought couldn’t be buffed out, but the were. The shine was consistent and I could no longer see any woman areas of the leather. Success!! This shop is now my go to shoe care shop.

I had a pair of army boots I've owned for about 30 years desperately in need of new heels as well as a pair of favorite dress shoes that had been very worn down. I took them in to this very unassuming place. The man behind the germ guard gave me a price I was comfortable with, so I decided to go with him. He said I could pay when I picked up the shoes, but I paid in advance, instead. I got my claim ticket and left. The wait time was about a week, which seems pretty fair. Competent, but not 5 star. I really wanted to give a glowing review but the truth is, you get what you pay for. First time, needed new heel cap (worn down) and re-covering of the heel with the leather because it was starting to fray and wear off. I came to pick up and rather than replace the leather outer coating, it was just patched with tiny bits of leather. What? These are dress shoes! So, he is very sweet - he said that would cost more (he really should have explained to two different ways of repairing - I never had anyone do patchwork on the heel before!) and it was still reasonable.
