We have just recently had MNK Unlimited Inc. build a combination Trex deck and hardscape patio in our back yard. Everything started as a discussion with Bo and Mike, the owner, at the February 2025 Hampton Roads Home Show held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. What followed were two visits by Bo in February and March to obtain the necessary information from us. He expertly guided us through the entire process, showing us 3D CAD renderings of our specific layout and making the necessary tweaks to zero in on what we wanted. During this journey, he injected his input when required based on several years in the field actually building deck...We have just recently had MNK Unlimited Inc. build a combination Trex deck and hardscape patio in our back yard. He expertly guided us through the entire process, showing us 3D CAD renderings of our specific layout and making the necessary tweaks to zero in on what we wanted. During this journey, he injected his input when required based on several years in the field actually building decks. We added Tru-scapes brand RGB LED lights to properly accent our deck and patio as well. We finalized a contract at a reasonable price point with deck construction starting on April 21, 2025.
Next came a flawless 18 X 16 foot deck installation led by Russ, who has been with Mike since the beginning, with James and Dillon ably providing their knowledge and expertise to the job. The deck was completed by May 5, 2025.
The very next morning, the pavers showed up to start the paver patio, as well as the front and side walkways. Sam led the paver team, which consisted of Wilson, Gabriel, Elman, Emerson, and Denison. These guys worked incessantly until the job was done on May 9, 2025. Very precise, professional results will add to our home's curb appeal significantly!
And of course, last but not least, I would like to give a shout out to Rich, Nicole, and Shannon, who provided unwavering support in the field as well as in the office to ensure the necessary materials and paperwork were available as required by the job. All were very flexible to our ever-changing needs as we navigated this major home improvement project. Results were exceptional!!!

It is rare. Very far and few between. Especially these days, that you hire a home improvement contractor and they give you exactly what you want. We hired MNK to build us a new deck with a ramp for our house. We knew exactly what we wanted and described it to MNK. Yes, it was a simple design, but MNK did not cut corners in building it. It is exactly what we wanted, with the quality product we wanted, and it looks amazing! But more importantly was the crew that built it. I watched James and his assistants take painstaking care to build this deck and ramp right. I could tell, they care about their work. Their standards are high and they were no...It is rare.
