I have my old reliable Oreck, but it does not have any of the additional attachment features. “Mike” informed me that the SEBO Airbelt E3 Premium would be best for my wool area rugs and wood floors. I also purchased additional attachments for drapery cleaning and an extra long crevice cleaner for under appliances. I felt like Mike had listened to my concerns and steered me in the right direction. My pet passed unexpectedly and although I did register the vacuum for the warranty, I did not take the vacuum out for a few weeks due to grieving and having my carpets professionally steam cleaned from my pet’s illness. I finally was able to use my new vacuum and it was “just okay”. The rug suction was decent, however, this item is just not good with wood floors…AT ALL. I brought the vacuum back (admittedly well after the 7 day return policy), but perfectly packaged as bought. I was told there was no way I could return the item and that wooden floors require a separate special vacuum head that Mike does not carry, but I could purchase off the internet. I inquired why he did not mention this during the original purchase discussion as I explained the vacuum would be used on wooden floors. I also told him that I did not have this issue with my Oreck. He went on to say extremely unrelated thinks like “your Oreck is not as great as you think it is. You can’t fly it to Dubai. An Oreck will not vacuum Shag carpets.” A.) I don’t fly my vacuum around the world like a Sanderson Sister from Hocus Pocus. So, I don’t see how that was remotely relevant or physically possible. B.) It’s not 1976….I don’t know who has shag carpets in 2026. He knew my area rugs were wool. Another moot point. Then he tried to blame my wooden floors and say they must have uneven surfaces and lots of spacing and cracks. (See photos - floors are in excellent condition) He refused to even let the conversation move toward the realm of an exchange or any other type of reasonable deal. I would have purchased a new vacuum, money was not an issue, I just felt he really misrepresented what the product was able to do with the parts it came with and neglected to mention the additional power heads at an extra cost and that I would have to find them online myself. Very poor (and weird) customer service. Couldn’t answer direct questions without providing ludicrous scenarios as a response. Do not recommend. EDIT: Response to the Owner's review. My mother bought me the vacuum as my Christmas Gift. Our first visit was "tense" because he freaked out because my mother accidentally tracked some snow onto the carpet and he was very annoyed at her and insisted on lecturing her on how to properly enter his store. I did not want continue business with him after that (disengaged). My mother insisted as it was her gift to me and this was "her" vendor. The vacuum was used ONCE and packaged perfectly in the same fashion with the Styrofoam in the exact places and all the parts were there. Mike carelessly ripped the box open. Lies. More lies. A refund was NEVER requested. Not once. I went there looking to see if something was wrong with the machine, and if not, a possible exchange for a different unit that worked better on hardwood flooring. We were unable to get that far as Mike went off about how horrible Oreck was and how my floors must be in poor condition. We were interested in the Miele and he immediately said "you do not want that". He had ZERO idea what our intentions were. I have offered to re-imburse her several times since our return visit to his store as the purchase we made and his attitude greatly upset my mother. My mother has refused my money. Money is still not the issue and Mike fails to see that. His attitude is the problem. Looking at the other reviews, I am not alone in this assessment. Mike - This is how you treat one of your nicest customers? That says a lot about the type of person you are. Learn to read the room.
