I had an antique motorcycle frame fork and three other parts powder coated by Midwest.
When I called it was priced at $150 for the frame so while I was at it I brought down the fork, fork stem, head lamp mount, bracket.
When I picked up the price was $350. No reason given. Come to find out the owner didn't even remove the wire loom clip I left by mistake on frame. Now its permanent imbedded in powder coat unless i redo it. Also while he did sandblast the fork and small parts there is evidence he did not blast the frame as areas where clamp bolts had worn old paint through, now there exists a grooved band.
Overall it looks nice but a big...I had an antique motorcycle frame fork and three other parts powder coated by Midwest.

Overall it looks nice but a big RIP off and deadbeat approach to doing business.
Subsequently I purchased $1000 in equipment to perform the rest of my powder coating needs as it's cheap insurance to know it is done correctly.
Beware, and get a written price before you leave him your parts

Had an intake powder coated for my car and he didn't take the time to clean out the intake after blasting it. When I installed the intake it destroyed my pistons and cylinder walls. I had to completely rebuild an engine that only had 2,000 miles on it. On top of that he didn't do a good job taping of the machined surfaces and I had to clean off the over spray to even mount the intake. Just does poor work I do not recommend and terrible customer service. I did call and try to resolve the issue and no help was offered and he told me he didn't know how sand could of got into the intake. "Played Dumb"

Tyson has been doing my powdercoating for 15 years now. He has done everything from custom ATV parts, frames, wheels, tools for work and many other things. He just coated a custom truck rack I built for my new work truck. It's 4' tall, 6' wide and 15' long. This thing looks just as good as the small parts he's done for me over the years with a 7 day turn around. Highly recommended!

Stripped an old aluminum bicycle frame and applied new powder coat finish. Quality was perfect! Great value and timely, friendly service. Highly recommended!
