Thank God for Mercer auto! These guys have kept my work trucks and personal vehicles up and running! Super responsive, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, very fair pricing! They keep my business running and life would be much more difficult without them! Just concluded another visit with two trucks. Always thankful for their expertise and quality work. So nice to have a shop I can trust. Thoroughly appreciate you all!
5 stars are nowhere near enough of a rating for this establishment! What a great group of guys!!! The husband and I own and run a Hotshot business. We haul all over the lower 48 states. Our truck started having turbo issues. It's super difficult to find anyone who specializes in Powerstroke engines. We called the dealership first and were told it would be at least 3 weeks before they could even diagnose to find the issue. 3 weeks stagnation for a business like ours spells financial ruin!!! Mercer came through for us...they put us in their shop the same day and had us on the road again within the week. My experience here was awesome! They got my Equinox running great. No complaints! I will be back for more work Update: mercer got my truck running good. Owner is willing to go over work needed and work recommended. Fair priced and very nice technicians. I may not be a business owner but you guys can service my fleet. Thank you
Brought them a 3rd gen 4runner with an oil pan leak. Didn’t want to do it myself as it is winter and I didn’t want to pull the front end or the motor to do the repair. I was quoted around $1,000 on the phone, ouch, but I was okay with it as the leak had been bad. I brought the vehicle in and they seemed quite professional and, although I usually don’t trust mechanics to do work as I’ve been burned a million times it feels in this town, I felt comfortable. They called at least 7-10 times to inform of “other issues” (red flag that I ignored) and eventually did a replacement seal on the crankshaft and replaced the harmonic balancer - all in all... Brought them a 3rd gen 4runner with an oil pan leak. Didn’t want to do it myself as it is winter and I didn’t want to pull the front end or the motor to do the repair. Anyways a DAY later - I shit you not - oil pan is leaking hard. Thankfully I have two vehicles and can wait til it’s a bit warmer to fix this myself. However, they didn’t fix the problem I brought them the vehicle for they did much easier work and still charged me near what I was originally quoted even though it was considerably easier work. Guess I get what I deserve for having another mid tier shop take advantage of me in this town. I would not recommend bringing a vehicle here and no I will not be using this shop in the future. Happy to have paid nearly $1000 for a job that would have cost me 3 hours and $300 TOPS in parts to still have the same exact leak and same exact problem I didn’t want to deal with myself. Guess I’m gonna be doing this early spring. Don’t bring your vehicle here they’ll just fix things you didn’t ask for and charge too much for it.
