McMahon Plumbing & Heating

We recently had mini splits installed in our big-ass Victorian by McMahon. Our house was always freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer. And because of the layout of our place (lots of rooms/no real open areas) we had to have so many window units that it never really cooled anything down. But that's not the case anymore. And we couldn't be happier. From the start, everyone at McMahon was just awesome to work with. Our first contact was Steven, who explained everything to us and helped us problem solve for what would be the best solution. After we decided that, Ledi did most of the installation (always with a helper). Ledi does more work in a day than I do in 3 months. He was just great (even our pets loved him). The electricians were awesome. Everyone involved was stellar. McMahon even helped us with the MassSave info we wanted to fill out for an interest-free loan that was available. I can not say enough about them. If you are looking to get any heating or cooling units installed, use them. You will not be disappointed.

Our air conditioning unit broke down during a very hot stretch of weather …Patrick the technician from McMahon Plumbing came to the rescue and was extremely knowledgeable and professional….the problem was immediately diagnosed and fixed within a timely manner…Patrick explained every step of the process leaving us with a better understanding of the issue….thank you McMahon for having such a knowledgeable professional on your team ….

LEDI was of great help!

Ledi and Rodney were efficient and fast. My heat pump installation was done in 3 days! No fuss no muss! They just got down to business and got the job done. And they never let my cat get out.

I needed a new boiler put in. Jack and Ron were awesome. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They took their time to make sure everything was working properly. They are very personable also. Jack also gave me advice on anything I might need further help with.I'm sorry if I got Ron's name wrong. Not sure if it is Ron or Jon. I apologize for not remembering. Thank you for all the time and work they put in. They left my cellar very clean and took away all of the old boiler.

Nick came out to quote a project at my commercial property and was professional, thorough, and transparent throughout the process. At my personal home, Pat came out to check a heating concern and performed a detailed inspection to ensure everything was operating properly. It turned out there was no real issue, but I appreciated how thorough and honest he was. Both were knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to work with. I just have my furnace replaced by Rob and Jack at McMahon Plumbing & Heating and they did a great job with the installation. They were friendly and quick to get the job done. Thanks to them, we now have heat in our home.

Our call to McMahon for a furnace/heating issue, on one of the coldest days of the year, was the best call we could have ever made. The office staff was helpful and understanding and pointed Jack in our direction to help with our emergency. Jack was professional, knowledgeable and patient. He was able to get us heat until he and Robbie could replace our furnace. Jack and Robbie are a great team - they were friendly, responsible and conscientious and worked efficiently and neatly to replace our furnace.

We had a new shower head and bidet toilet seat installed by Patrick and JD. These men were very professional and did an excellent job, including leaving the area spotless. They explained the work they would do and checked in with me at completion to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Grateful to this professional team for a job well done!

They were absolutely professional and excellent at their job. Ledi was my service person and he was knowledgeable and did everything perfectly. He got my part for my heater motor quickly. He was like a surgeon, only 30 mins he replaced motor and heat was was working like new!!! He made my New Year! 2026 will be a warm Winter inside my home.
