Amazing time at this bike shop. The staff was unbelievably friendly and very knowledgeable, guiding me to the perfect ride. Their selection of bikes is mind-blowing, not to mention their customer service which is absolutely top-notch. It's true gem for all of us cycling enthusiasts, and I can't recommend it enough, whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie. Make sure to check it out—you won't be disappointed.
I was in the market for my first bike as an adult. I called 5 bike shops, the market could be pretty intimidating as bikes can cost between $400 to $10,000. I met with Reed, Owner of Matawan Bike Shop. He gave me his phone number and educated me on the differences in bikes, sizing, the reasons for the pricing, etc. I was working relatively late and Reed actually worked with me outside of the shop hours, built me a bike right out the box, offered the shop service warranty for a reasonable cost, added accessories as requested and made sure I was happy with my purchase before sending me on my way ensuring I can contact him and shop any time if I... Awesome shop, fast, friendly, knowledge & fair priced ! Reed & his crew were really helpful & immediately repaired my bike while I was visiting South Jersey. Reed repaired my flat, made some suggestions, adding a larger value & foam tape to help prevent further flats. I know eventually tubeless is the way to go but on this day they helped get me back on the path fast & my day wasn't lost. They even recommended a few other trails in the area. Thanks guys! It's was a relief knowing I was in good hands.
