I could have called a national company but I decided to stay local and called Maid Valet Restoration right here in Valdosta. From the first call, I knew I made the right decision. Michelle and George Valdez along with their staff are amazing. Michelle was my first contact and she set up a time to come out to assess the damage within 24 hours. As she assessed the damage she explained every single thing she was doing with her meters and infrared cameras. She spoke in plain terms and was easily understandable. She showed us where the water was through the walls, how bad it was and the scope of work needed to dry everything and how they would treat everything for mold prevention. She was kind and reassuring throughout the process. She quickly put me at ease, and that was a blessing. George Valdez and his professional staff, showed up the next day and handled the demolition. They did a very professional job. They moved and covered all of my furniture, removed all of the wet drywall and insulation from the walls, strategically placed and started the drying units and hauled off everything leaving absolutely no mess. After about three days they returned with their meters and cameras to check the presence of water in these same areas. Upon finding them dry to specifications they treated all areas for mold and removed the drying machines. They made a point of leaving all of the furniture covered, so when the contractor came the furniture would be protected from the new drywall dust. As a matter of fact even the contractor commented on how he appreciated their professional work, clean and easy to go behind for repairs. Again, I would not hesitate to HIGHLY recommend Maid Valet Restoration. The Valdez team is second to none, locally owned and operated. They are welcome to use me as a reference anytime!!

So thankful for Maid Valet. Our kitchen unexpectedly flooded during a recent storm. At first we thought we got off lucky, but little did we know that our ventilation system that runs through our foundation was FILLED with water.
In the 8 years of owning our home, we had never dealt with anything like this and were honestly a little overwhelmed. A family friend referred us to Michelle with Maid Valet. I called and let me say, what a relief!
Michelle was so incredibly helpful. She came and assessed the situation and explained exactly where the damage was, how they would proceed and what the process would look like.
