took my car to Louise’s Transmission and it was the biggest mistake ever. They promised me a “full rebuild” and a “lifetime warranty.” Louise herself looked me in the eye and said, “We’ll take care of you, no surprises.” Well, that was a straight-up lie. First off, they charged me way less than any other shop, which should’ve been a red flag. A week later my car was driving worse than before — slipping gears, jerking every time I hit the gas. I called them nonstop, no answer. The “warranty line” goes straight to voicemail. When I went back to the shop, the sign on the building was already changed and Louise was gone like she never existed.... took my car to Louise’s Transmission and it was the biggest mistake ever. Turns out they threw in some cheap knock-off parts instead of real transmission parts. My new mechanic showed me — it was garbage. Basically, they scammed me and a bunch of other people in the neighborhood the same exact way. Same fake receipts, same “warranty” that covered nothing. Bottom line: Louise’s Transmission is a scam. They take your money, do a half-baked job with trash parts, and then vanish before you even realize what happened
