my dryer stopped getting hot I called Gary he came out the next day-on a Saturday for no extra charge and fixed it showed me the problem help me diagnose a vent flow issue that is dangerous and gave me a great price 100% recommend!!
Trying hard to keep business local but yet when I am told someone will be at my house between a two hour window and isn't AND no phone call was received saying they would be late, I left for my next appointment. Arriving 40 minutes past the window (had to have husband get home to meet the service tech), he spent 7 minutes and charged me $170 to tell me my dryer needed a new motor. Shouldn't there be some diagnostic questions asked over the phone to determine if a house call is even needed? Or a disclosure about the cost of a service call? Neither. Sorry but taking my business elsewhere to buy a new washer/dryer despite wanting to help loc... I have used Kelly for a number of years at my house in Wilmette and have had great experiences with service and communication. Over the last decade, I have had them replace my dryer vent, and a few other laundry repairs. Alex the owner and head technician is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, he is honest and prompt. Highly recommended.
Sign in window says they repair Kitchen Aid mixers. I bring my mom's in for a repair. After six weeks, no phone call, no update, nothing. Don't waste your time with these folks.
I had purchased several vacuums from Kelly’s in Highland Park. I needed a new filter and bags for my Hoover so I brought it to Kelly’s in Wilmette. They did not have the right sized filter. I gave them my package of two filters that were the wrong size…priced at $7.99. I had no use for them. Must have gone with a vacuum I no longer own. They did not have the correct sized filters. I bought a bag of 9 dust bags and a $15 shop charge was added to the price of the bags. SERIOUSLY??! Way to get me to never return!! I assumed that the help given was just part of customer service.
