Discovered a puddle on my laundry room floor late Saturday afternoon during an all day rain. Realized a fast dripping leak coming from the ceiling. The leaking filled 2 large bowls very quickly. I didn’t hold out too much hope for anything to be done till Monday or if someone could come, they would charge premium emergency rates. Through a referral, I contacted Miguel Rodriguez at KBR and he said he could come that afternoon and there’s no premium rate. He said if he came while it’s raining, he can check where the leak is coming from. Donned his rain gear and went to the roof, explained there were 3 valleys of water all converging in one spo... He said if he came while it’s raining, he can check where the leak is coming from. Donned his rain gear and went to the roof, explained there were 3 valleys of water all converging in one spot. He placed some temporary underlayment on the affected areas to stop the leak till Monday. And it stopped leaking within 5 minutes I’d say. He came back on Monday to change the affected areas with new underlayment, fixed any tiles he could and replaced those that couldn’t be repaired with new tiles. Price was reasonable and I’m very grateful to Miguel for dealing with my crisis in such an honest and reassuring way. I would never have lasted the weekend’s heavy rains not only indoors, but might have caused even more structural or permanent damage. Miguel didn’t try to deceive me by creating some crisis situation of needing more roof work than needed. He checked other areas on the roof and determined only what’s needed and confirmed other areas were ok. By the time he left Saturday, it was dark and still raining, but I felt relieved everything was fixed professionally and he responded so quickly even though he had he came from a far location. Grateful to KBR and especially to Miguel. Highly recommend and I would not hesitate to call KBR again for any maintenance check ups.
KBR is quick to respond and has the most competitive pricing out there. They were willing to work with me on short-term and long-term repairs, and were accountable for their workmanship. I can 100% recommend them if you're in need of roof repair or replacement (I did both!)
Estimate was very reasonable and negotiated with me to lower estimate (final cost). Final product and job was professional from high quality materials to workmanship to final cleanup. All done within one work day from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Our roof looks beautiful; they matched the shingles and tiles perfectly.
