Extremely disappointed with the service I received. A technician came out in January to repair my refrigerator, and four months later, it's still unresolved. I had to constantly follow up just to get updates—only to find out the original part was unavailable, causing more delays and increased costs. Calls and voicemails in March and April were not responded to, and communication was consistently poor. The owner was unprofessional, passive-aggressive, and never once offered an apology or a solution to the issue. When I requested a full refund—previously promised by office staff—it was refused. After a long and frustrating experience with Sears Home Services that never fixed the issue, working with JMR Services and Joe was a complete turnaround. Joe was responsive, communicated clearly, and most importantly, he actually repaired the ice maker problem that had been ongoing for months.
What really stood out was his professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile, including helping with follow-up questions and documentation. Honest, reliable service like this is rare, and I would absolutely recommend JMR Services to anyone who wants the job done right.

The first time I called John, my refrigerator freezer wouldn’t freeze. He diagnosed it with a freon leak that he couldn’t guarantee that the repair would last. I excepted that and sure enough, a year later it quit. The next time I requested service from John was for my dryer and an ice maker in the garage. The ice maker couldn’t be repaired which I excepted. The dryer he had to order parts for and repaired it a week or so later. I was so pleased with his service that I transported my dryer I use at my lake house at Richland Chambers to Waco before the Christmas holidays. He ordered parts for it the next day. Three weeks ago I texted him about the status of the parts. He said he’d check. Week later, never head from him. I called Melissa at the home office, she ask for my number, said she’d get back to me. Never did! A week ago I texted John and he informed my the parts were back ordered. I don’t have a problem with the parts being back ordered. I do have issues with them not communicating with me. I still to this day don’t know the status of those parts. I call the office this morning and got a recording by Melissa saying the office is closed Tuesday the 27th. Today is Thursday the 29th. I don’t know whether to call a different repair company and pay for another service fee or wait for Melissa or John to contact me

Unfortunately, my experience with JMR echoes their most recent reviews. JMR came out in October to fix a fridge that wasn’t cooling. The technician said I needed a back ordered part, we had a nice conversation about the washer and dryer I was planning to replace. The charge included the service call, the back ordered part, and the labor, and I paid half up front. They told me the part should be in within a few weeks.
That was the last time I ever heard from JMR. We started calling about a month later. Each time the lady on the phone would tell us “she’d look into it and get back to us” or “the part was still on back order”.
