John completely transformed our floors! He helped us sand and refinish two rooms, as well as install new red oak stair treads to replace old douglas fir that didn’t match. The main floor of our house already had refinished floors, so John went above and beyond to find the right color to match, which was very important to us. I would preface, that I actually asked Jon to rectify the issues we have before I wrote this review. He has been silent. Hasn’t responded or attempted to fix any issue I brought up. I feel the job was rushed, too complex, and he over promised… my floors have numerous issues and the pictures follow. BUYER BEWARE! He will not fix anything and actually laughed at me when doing final walk through for issues - his sander had issues, “good it’s in the pantry,” he said. My favorite, “buy silicone” cause the cuts he made were off. Furthermore, he SEALED all my vents covers.

After reaching out and waiting for Jon for 3+ months for him to actually be a man of his word, as he declines to fix the issues. He said we’re no longer “friends,” this is my fault FOR paying him, and my favorite, the job was big and complex. Buyer beware - he takes zero responsibility, legit laughs when issues are pointed out, and then blames you for his shoddy work. LOOK ELSEWHERE! I’m done and will have to pay someone else to fix Jon’s errors. Yay… advice to Jon: next time don’t ask for a review if you cannot handle it, and then blame your client for your failures as a contractor when I actually tried to resolve with you individually.
