I needed a section of my french drain repaired, so I called all the local basement waterproofers. They all said they can't work on just a section and tried to sell me a whole new system, which I did not need. I'm glad I called Jeffries. Adam came right out and gave me a quote, without trying to sell me things I didn't need. I was on a very tight timeline and they did everything they could to meet my deadline, even working late into the night to get it done. I called Jeffries basement to come and check my sump pump. Mr. Jermaine the owner came in checked the pump and explained the problem, and within minutes he fixed it and checked it to make sure it is working again. Mr. Jermaine did not charge a fee for this work, he said is minor work. I do not know Mr. Jermaine prior to this day, I found his company on Google. Mr. Jermaine was very courteous and also knowledgeable about his work. He definitely respected my house rules. I will use Jeffries basement services again if the need arises. We had an excellent experience with Jeffries Basement Waterproofing during a home purchase inspection. While we were under contract, Mr. Jeffries performed a very thorough and detailed inspection of the crawl space and uncovered multiple serious issues, including water accumulation beneath the existing encapsulation membrane, extensive organic growth on the insulation and floor joints, and numerous tears in the encapsulation that compromised the vapor barrier’s effectiveness.
