I just had JD Gates install a new deck for me and I can't be happier! The whole experience was wonderful. Wes came out to provide an estimate and I heard back from him with total costs within 3 days (no being ghosted!). His crew worked closely with the county to get permits (which were unfortunately delayed by over a year due to a septic issue). Wes and his office stayed on top of everything and closely communicated with me. When we were cleared for construction, his office manager, Stephanie, made sure I knew exactly what to expect and always promptly followed up with me regarding any changes. They were so careful and there paid extremely close attention to detail. I offered to recycle their cardboard materials and they said there was no need because they always recycle these (this was important to me). Also, I swear they built this deck to withstand a herd of elephants--the county inspector claimed, "This is exceptional and well-above code--it will last forever". I can't be happier with my new deck! Now we just need some warm weather.

Gates has done over 5 projects so far in our house since we moved in 2 years ago. From replacing old/odd style windows in my detached garage, to my exterior and interior doors, every job was timely and handled professionally. I had a few companies not even show up or call back since the quarantine Gates was the only one to get the job done. They just finished replacing 5 old basement windows and made my house look great!
