2 sections of our iron fence were destroyed beyond repair after a huge tree fell on it following the storm on 15may25. These guys repaired the sections with meticulous professionalism!! Great work, great price!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

Our front gate was made well, but way too heavy. We had repairs on it several times over the years and Iron Craft Welding solved our problem. They created a super structure to better distribute the weight of the gate and replaced the rusted out posts. They did the work very quickly. Once we had our estimate, they started work in less than a week and finished it within a couple of business days. Fair price and quality work. Highly recommend.

This review is long overdue. I had rails replaced on the outside stairs ia while back. It needed to it get done right away because it was hazardous not having any there. The original ones were removed because the iron was corroded and rails were unstable. They worked well with me and replaced them on a day that wasn't so cold in January. They gave me a fair price and did beautiful work. I'm very happy with the job.

Iron Craft Welding was select from among four businesses recently contacted to perform metalwork on existing front and back gates which our small condo building has as part of its original perimeter metal fencing. Recent months have brought an increase in vandalism and our community was frequently making repairs to the gate locks. Better offense was called for and we needed a metalworking company that appreciated the reasons for our concern and could provide service promptly. Max from Iron Craft offered to come on-site the next day to see things first-hand, which would provide an informed estimate. We exchanged a few messages between that call and his arrival. He was very clear about being on time and phoned to say he was en route. Once he arrived he spent less that ten minutes sizing things up and listening to what we believed we wanted. He offered his perspectives and affirmed that Plan A was a reasonable approach. He further noted some critical points on the fencing itself (not the gates) would benefit from timely rust removal/priming and painting and offered to price this separately. (Appreciated this initiative from him and keeping it separate from the gate work since that was the immediate concern.) The estimate arrived that evening while three other firms had yet to return my inquiry. Two others did so the next day and while one of those did have several questions ahead of offering an estimate, the other did not and offered an estimate that was 15% higher than Iron Craft, based off shared photos . The fourth contact promised to- pass to their estimator and that I could expect a call early next week to arrange a site visit/estimate. Scheduled the project with Max for three business days forward. Bob and Thomas arrived at the promised date & time and phoned just a bit ahead of their arrival. Bob surveyed everything, recapped the agreed upon details and got to work. Spent a bit more than four hours welding plating and priming and painting to make it impossible for the next errant idiot to pry either gate latch to failure. Bob went the extra mile and created a shallow tray that completely enclosed the intercom linked latch without impeding its working. Our small community immediately felt more secure. These guys are responsive, reliable and true craftsmen.

We own a business in the Gold Coast of Chicago that urgently needed the back gate repaired. The team at Ironcraft was immediate in their response, came out, gave us a quote and did beautiful work.
