An employee of this firm named Benjamin Scott came out to our home and our rental property to evaluate the damage we sustained from a wind storm that left shingles in our driveway. He was honest and courteous enough to give my husband and I a free emergency repair to prevent rain and squirrels from getting in to our attic. We recently worked with Interstate Roofing after significant hail damage required us to replace our roof, siding, fencing, and garage—and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience. Benjamon Scott is doing are neighbors roof so I asked him to take a look at ours. We have had hail and wind storms lately in Cheyenne at our rental property so I asked him to take a look and I expected him to tell me that he needed to sell me a new roof. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and honesty when he showed me the photos he had indicated that there was not enough damage to need to file a claim or worry about it at this time. He brings expert knowledge in diagnosing, industry knowledge of insurance companies, has great knowledge around challenging legal processes and brings a network of contractors to build the best-looking roof in the neighborhood. His professionalism and persistence were able to get our roof claim covered after AllState tried to reject it twice. These skills differentiate Joseph from other professionals in the industry, and I highly recommend working with him. We filed our first claim in 2024, but AllState denied it. AllState promised that in the event of another hail... Joseph Mestas did a phenomenal job guiding us through our claim to completion. His professionalism and persistence were able to get our roof claim covered after AllState tried to reject it twice. These skills differentiate Joseph from other professionals in the industry, and I highly recommend working with him. We filed our first claim in 2024, but AllState denied it. AllState promised that in the event of another hailstorm next year, they would be required to provide coverage. To neither Joseph’s nor my surprise AllState again tried to reject our claim after a hailstorm in 2025. Joesph knew AllState may reject our claim again. He shared that AllState is notorious for denying claims. He shared referenceable information to prove it, and Joseph had a winning record of fighting insurance companies which helped make my decision to fight it easy. If we wanted to challenge the claim, we would need to engage an independent umpire or third party to decide whether the roof should be covered. It was $1250 up front and an additional $1800 if it were determined we would win the claim. That is a small amount to pay for a roof that is 30 years old and costs over $25,000 to replace. I took the gamble, which wasn’t as much of a gamble as I thought. After the umpire inspected the roof and confirmed it was covered, we proceeded with the next steps in disputing the claim. After two months, when the claim was approved, the insurance company issued two checks. Joseph got his team out there as soon as possible and I had a new roof with black and silver class four shingles, three whirlybirds and roof vents to code on both sides of the house. Joseph was even able to work through his network to get our entire drip edge and gutter around the house covered. The house's improved appearance has boosted our home value by about $17,500. We had a few more correspondences with AllState where Joseph had to keep them on track. A peace of mind that is invaluable when you are fighting insurance companies. Our claim is complete, we have a new roof and we are so grateful that we answered the door when Joseph came knocking. He brings so much value to the table with roofing, legal, processes, and experience that I would recommend him to anyone who needs to evaluate their roof.
