the absolute worst company i have ever worked with in my entire life. there was absolutely zero communication from this company. i got quoted 4-6 weeks from the time i pay to installation & 8 weeks later it finally gets installed. if i wanted an update or any information, i, the consumer had to call them. out of all the times they told me they would call me back, they only did one time. who i spoke to also knew nothing, so i called for pretty much no reason. then i got told my gate would be installed the next week after i called & asked. i asked when i could expect a phone call to get on the schedule for the following week. she told me she di...the absolute worst company i have ever worked with in my entire life. there was absolutely zero communication from this company. i got quoted 4-6 weeks from the time i pay to installation & 8 weeks later it finally gets installed. if i wanted an update or any information, i, the consumer had to call them. out of all the times they told me they would call me back, they only did one time. who i spoke to also knew nothing, so i called for pretty much no reason. then i got told my gate would be installed the next week after i called & asked. i asked when i could expect a phone call to get on the schedule for the following week. she told me she didn’t know. wednesday morning shows up & i’ve heard nothing. i then get a phone call that they’re on my front porch ready to install, when no one is even home. the guy says to me that i should’ve gotten an EMAIL the night before saying they were coming today. which i never even got this email either. it baffles me they would email TELLING me when they were installing, rather than a call asking what time frame works. i got neither. then my husband gets to our house & not only do they not even ask if it looks okay, but they don’t even tell him they’re done & leaving. my husband opens the front door & looks outside to see they left. this company is absolutely ridiculous. i wouldn’t wish them upon anyone. we need railing for our back porch, but i will most definitely be going with a different company. i’m not one to write bad reviews, i really only review companies when they have an employee who deserves great recognition, but i would feel awful if i didn’t write this review to warn others.

My first reaction to the quote was that it seemed too low cost for the overall project. Maybe installation wasn't included? When I called to pay half and get things started, I was reassured that the quote was the total cost indeed. Also, I was told 3-4 weeks for the railing to be made.
Honestly, it was at the back of my mind until one day I came home and it was done. I had been at work and hadn't seen the voicemail which indicated they would be by that day to install the new railing.
Normally I'd prefer to be around for something like this, but seeing how seamless the new railing was installed made me happy. It looked great, including the sheen of the black powder coat and overall simple style. Other than the railing being replaced, I would have never known anyone was there, and I appreciate that level of respect to the surroundings.
Overall my experience with IO is that my expectations were met and exceeded.

We had to have them uninstall our front and back railing after they had installed. We requested they take it back and re-powder coat them being they started to rust after only a week or two. They were great to work with and completed the rework without hesitation. We have had many, many compliments from neighbors, family, friends, and passersby. The only issue was quickly resolved. Thanks for the quality product and design. The staff were all great.

My 80 year old mother hired Intermountain Ornamental to install a handrail in her backyard garden. She was pleased with the aesthetics and sturdiness of the handrail. However, upon discovering a mistake made during installation, the customer service was subpar and requests to remedy the situation were denied by the company.
Will not use this company again and cannot recommend a company that won't stand behind their work.
