Hybrid Roofing did an outstanding job on my total roof replacement. Donta and his team were incredibly accommodating and transparent from start to finish. He walked me through every step of the process, explained everything clearly, and always shot straight with me. The crew was reliable, professional, and extremely easy to work with. It’s rare to find a company that combines great workmanship with honest communication, but Hybrid Roofing delivered on all fronts. Would highly recommend, especially over other companies within the area!

Excellent communication and professionalism all around. I’m extremely pleased and will happily recommend them to friends and family! ---

Helped with some roof remediations that homeowners insurance identified. Quick and communicative - carrier renewed my policy. Thanks Dante!

Very happy with the work I got done. I needed a new roof, bricks replaced, and stucco repaired. They came out quickly for an estimate, correctly diagnosed the issue, and finished work in a timely manner. Price was good and I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. 10/10 would hire again. Before/after photos attached.

Worst experience we ever had with a home improvement contractor. Horrible communication, no accountability for breaking our AC, sloppy clean up, and rude owner. If a 0 star review was a possibility, I would select that.

Hybrid consistently schedules work they don’t show up for. Sometimes they’ll come on a different day, unannounced, other times not at all until you call to ask what’s going on. I hired them to remove a chimney that spanned from the 2nd to 3rd story of my house. The wall it was on also had some structural issues. All-in-all they’d need to reinforce the wall and put new roofing on the 2nd story. While reinforcing the wall, Hybrid suggested blocking over the window to my 3rd floor bathroom because it’d be cheaper/easier. I spoke to a friend who pointed out that this wouldn’t be up to code. I brought this up to Hybrid who agreed. Not sure why they would suggest something that isn’t to code. The project took much longer than estimated due to constant no-shows, and the area where the chimney was removed was exposed during that time. Hybrid contacted me one night before a big rain, reminding me that there was only a tarp on the roof for protection. I asked if there was anything else I should do. They said no, it’s tied down and secured, so it should be good. That night, water came through my 3rd level roof, causing extensive damage to all 3 levels of my ceiling. I later realized that Hybrid had never reattached my downspout, so the water was pooling around the removed chimney area with no place to drain. When I mentioned the damage, they said, “we’ll have it finished up by next week, so you never have to worry about that again.” 13 days later, the job was still not done and more rain was coming. I contacted Hybrid to ask if they could make sure the area was sound this time. That’s when they reattached the downspout, which fixed the issue. But it’s an issue that never should have occurred in the first place. After I brought up the damage several more times, Hybrid asked me to send photos of it. They offered to have their “paint guy clean it up” one afternoon for free, even though the damage was much more extensive than paint would fix. Regardless, I scheduled a date with them. He never showed up. The work lasted another week. Several times I was told they’d be finishing that day, but upon inspection, noticed things that were clearly unfinished. When I brought them up, I got responses like, “Hey the guys will finish up tomorrow. They were bull shitting yesterday and forgetting things.” or “They have been off their game with the holiday approaching they’re just looking for their break and absolutely killing me.” These are exact quotes from text messages. Not something you want to hear from your contractor. They also managed to rip holes in my window screens. Hybrid said they would replace them. They no-showed several times. Aside from the screens and water damage, the job finally got finished. In hindsight, I should have withheld payment until those things were fixed, but dealing with Hybrid was such a headache that I decided I’d rather fix them myself. I also didn’t have much faith in the “paint guy” fixing several floors of drywall damage in an afternoon. A few months later, water came through the roof again. I called Hybrid and told them it was coming in at the same spot it did when the chimney area was exposed. They came and put some asphalt over one of the roof seams and told me I needed a new 3rd level roof. I explained to them that I never had issues with water coming in until they worked on my house. They said the seam where the water was coming in had nothing to do with the work they did. The water continued despite the asphalt on the seam, so I called another roofer for a 2nd look. They found a small puncture in the roof. They said I could plug it myself and see if it fixed the issue. Sure enough, it did. I can’t definitively say that Hybrid made the puncture, but they were the only ones on the roof since the water problem began. Recently, I noticed some of the roof trim they installed coming off the house. They used one nail to secure about 9 feet of trim. I’ve been contacting them for 2 months now trying to have them fix it. Each time they say they’ll send someone out that week, and never show up.
