I am compelled to share my experience from last week. I called HomCo to see if they did any small engine work and they said yes. I dropped off my snowblower for HomCo's technicians to diagnose starting issues. The next day they said it was fixed and good to go and that they would deliver it to me. (20 miles away) Their driver arrived right on time, started it up and rolled it into my shed. When I stated I would pay him by check or even cash. He said "Sir there is no charge" I was dumbfounded and asked again and again he said "No Charge". This is genuine "Old School Customer Service". My hubby and I LOVE this place!! We've never had a bad experience here. The people are super helpful and are really good at helping us find what we need no matter how difficult the task. This place is literally one of our favorite places in Flagstaff and definitely our favorite hardware store! ♥️ Thank you to all the staff!! 🤗

So far things are looking fairly poor. Sunday morning: Left my new stihl saw with the certified stihl saw shop they have there at homco because the thing quit on me after 2.5 months. I felt confident they could handle the repair because there were at least 4 employees busy at work behind the counter. I was told it would be a day or two until they could get to it. Monday morning: That is why I was so surprised to recieve a phone call after only 24 hours from a very attentive employee named Sam. The product I needed was priced at double what Home Depot charges. The employee didn’t believe I had bought the same item for half the price at HD and said he would price-match it if I brought in the receipt. I went to my car, got the receipt, and brought it back — but he didn’t even look at it. He just told me he wouldn’t match the price because it was “below his cost.” He wouldn’t tell me what his actual cost was or how much of a discount he could offer. Instead, he told me to go back to Home Depot. I’ve always enjoyed shopping here and have spent a lot of money over the years, even though HD is cheaper and has a better return policy. But... We love HomCo. They are so helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. They make every project go so much smoother. We replaced the window screens in our home.
