10/10 recommend Here or There Automotive. My friend and I called Jame’s shop for an emergency hitch repair on our cross country road trip. A bolt had been torn out of the car frame. We had a wonderful experience and I couldn’t say thank you enough for all the help James gave us. He helped us unhook and reattach our trailer, fixed the hitch and even welded it to the car, and then charged us an incredibly reasonable and generously low price for his 4.5 hr repair. I am very grateful for all he did and his help.

I honestly don’t think I’ll ever meet a better mechanic than James. Not only is he incredibly skilled and trustworthy, but he’s also one of the kindest, most genuine people I know. He’s helped me out so many times. He’s always going above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and that I felt taken care of. It’s rare to find someone this good at what they do and this dependable. We became friends over the years, and now that I’ve moved to Washington, I realize just how lucky I was to have him around. If you’re lucky enough to live nearby, don’t think twice. This is your guy!

I had a very good experience with James! He got me in about 10 minutes after I called him for a shifter cable replacement. He got a new bushing that seems to be working perfectly! Very very nice guy and knowledgeable. I will be letting him do the rest of the work on my car!

James has worked on a couple of my vehicles now. He is always honest, helpful, and considerate. Not to mention he’s the best mechanic out there! HIGHLY recommend!
