Just know that this situation may not happen to you but if it does, I know from experience that they do try their best to accommodate their mistakes even if they don’t want to. If you have a luxury vehicle or even just something you take good care of, just pay attention and if something does happen don’t worry.* If I could give this place a zero star I would. I made a weekend appointment because of my busy school schedule for 10am. I dropped it off and the young man at the front desk was very respectful and told me it would be done before 12 because they close at 1 pm (technically). It was about 11:35-11:40 when I decided to go to the shop just in case they forgot to call. I waited in line for a few minutes ( this is important for timeline). Front desk person Jason tells me my car is next around 11:50-11:55. This was a drop off appointment, but he tells me to take a seat. Thank god I didn’t because I would’ve waited for almost another hour because they called me at 12:41 to tell me my vehicle was all set, 2 hrs and 41 minutes after I dropped it off. It takes a few minutes to close house lights, set the alarm, etc. calls me again at 1:01 to ask where I am because they closed at 1. Mind you they have had my car for almost 3 hours. It is not my problem your techs took this long to get a car all set (all I got was a patch and balance). He tells me “we aren’t perfect”, which yes nobody is perfect. But you expected me to be at the shop asap. I’m not the one who took almost 3 hrs to do a job. Businesses make appointments to get clients out at certain times so others can come in. Through all of this my tone stayed respectful and I tried not to flip out. He tells me that he’s not going to argue with me and “they want to get out at a certain time too. Again, that’s a tech and front desk problem that it wasn’t done as early as they wanted. To top it all off they also “curb rashes” the rim they worked on (it was only passenger side rear). I’ve added some pics and you can tell it was that wheel by the oil residue from the techs gloves. I didn’t notice this in their driveway but even if I did it wouldn’t matter because they locked the dirt right after I stepped out to grab my car. I have had this car for almost 4 years now and I try my best to stay away from curbs and I park in a driveway at home with no curbs. I had a gut feeling this would happen so I have also attached a before picture of the same wheel. If it was owner error, the front passenger wheel would also be curbed (also pic shown for proof). I am keeping my receipt and calling on Monday, refinishing wheels isn’t cheap. I do plan on taking this to small claims court if issue isn’t resolved which should be easy with all the evidence I have which I have already had a lawyer confirm I have enough valid evidence.
