Had a new fence installed and needed to replace the passage and RV gate. They made and installed a beautiful gate (composite slates) with Kickplate and S scroll top for $1000 less than other competitors.

I needed a new side gate to meet city code, as we're having a pool put in. I received several bids and Hector's was one of the best. He came out to measure and the gate was ready 3 days later! Hector Sr. & Hector Jr. came and installed the gate in a little over an hour. They made sure everything fit perfectly and the self-closing spring was adjusted properly. They installed the door lever and deadbolt that I supplied. It's obvious they take pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

The professionalism was perfection. They left the area better then when they arrived. They worked quickly and politely with consideration of any noise or waste. They paid attention to all details and even repainted and scratches that occurred during installation. We will be using this company again. Stay away from Hector’s Iron. Did a gate for me a few months ago, used non adjustable hinges for some reason, swore it would never need adjusting. 3 weeks later was way out of adjustment, and started to rust in a few places. To make matters worse, for some unknown reason they ground down the bolts that hold the gate against the wall, so now I can’t even shim the gate back in alignment. They said they were going to come back and fix it and after multiple attempts to reach them I’m finally getting someone else to completely replace it. Ridiculous

Similar experience to the last few reviews. Gates were installed with improper spacing and when heated up, they bend. Spent the last four months trying to get them to come out and fix it and nothing.
