Hat Creek Travel Center

There's truck parking, not a ton, but there is some for overnight parking. They do close nightly, I think at midnight, so plan your bathroom trips accordingly. No fees for that either. It looks a little rough from the outside, but they keep the bathrooms clean! I took the time to thank the lady that runs this place. I hope it's her place, because she treats it as such. A great thing about getting a spot here is lots of food options in walking distance! And although it looks rough there's even a laundry mat next door if you wanted to get busy and get your laundry done, you could get the yummy tacos just past the laundry mat too. I added photo... We've stopped here in the past for fuel. We stopped for coffee today and were very disappointed. Restrooms were filthy, no toilet paper. The cappuccino machines were only dispensing half portions of flavoring. $2.29 for a small regular coffee. This is supposed to be a truck stop but the sign says no overnight parking! Won't be stopping here again!

This place has always been a good place for gas if you forgot in Deming or just don't want to stop in town heading East from Deming or before you get to Deming heading west. Their food is well prepared by staff and service is always over the top.

My first adventure traveling out West with my OTR truck driver husband ...this small, upstart of a travel center is very cute. I was thinking that I was meeting real Native Americans, but that wasn't the case. The center was clean, the staff was friendly, and there were at least 2 showers. Area is only big enough for 6-8 semis.

My favorite place to fuel, clean restrooms. Small home town vibe. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They always make me feel at home when I stop in.
