Hammer & the Last Shoe Repair

I brought these very old and battered boots that had been through all sorts of weather and salt for over 10 years. The seams were ripped and the heals and sole were in rough shape. They gave these shoes a second life while keeping all the love and memories they've made throughout the years and they look Gorgeous! Brought back the beautiful color they once had and the price was perfectly reasonable for the amount of work and they ended being less than the orional quote! I would absolutely recommend this place, and I have a very happy husband who's so excited to wear these shoes again!

First, the bad news. Apparently, there are only 6 cobblers in NH This has greatly strained services. I brought in my ski boot liner for a minor repair and was told 6 weeks minimum for completion. After several bumps in the road, and with the best ski season in 3 years, I was able to get the repair expedited within 4 weeks. The repair seems expertly done and I am grateful for the understanding and courtesy shown me. Some patience is needed here. Bring your footwear for repair when out of season. I've had three pairs of boots re-soled by this business. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the craftsmanship and the price. I have bad feet and typically keep three pairs of boots in my rotation, after about 6 or 8 months of wearing one pair of boots two times per week average they start to hurt my feet and putting new insoles in doesn't help. The last hammer has allowed me to extend the life of my thorough goods. I plan on using his services in the future.

The cobbler and shop are amazing. My boots were old but were returned looking like new. They're a little expensive but what price do we pay for perfection! Highly recommend The Hammer.

Good service and craftsmanship . Hours are difficult to figure out. Never answers phone. Displays are super dirty. Hard to see from road
