I have chosen Guardian Protection to care for my house and my family, after a detailed survey on many other companies. And after they installed and set their system and service I have to say I did the right thing. This was e new construction house and they came for cabling all was needed, data transmission, wifi, TV. Then they came to install their security devices; up to date technology and( surprisingly for new technologies…) very easy to use. John the Tech who came first day spent all the time I asked to explain all features and give recommendations to help me start from the forst second to use their features easily. John was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable and kind. On the first visit he suggested a remedy to a concern that I had and was able to return with the solution! We have been with Guardian for 5 years and have been so pleased with our decision.
Great experience from the initial sales consultation through the installation. The Guardian team was very attentive to designing the protection I wanted. The affiliate that installed my system, (Zane), was fantastic. He was sensitive about the visual appearance of the main box, providing options for installation, made sure the cables/power cords were neatly secured, and offered to change it if I didn't like it. He was extremely patient while helping me setup my phone app and walking me through the panel features. Zane also installed my sister's system a couple of days later, and came over to answer some follow-up questions I had about th... Zane also installed my sister's system a couple of days later, and came over to answer some follow-up questions I had about the app. I was addressing a couple of problems associated with moving into a new home, so it was a pleasure and relief to have such a pleasing and professional experience with Guardian. A week later a representative called to make sure I understood the functions of my system, actually tested a feature with me, provided links for other resources, and made sure I had support numbers for my contact list. Much appreciation for such outstanding customer service. My only problem with Guardian is the $2 charge for paper billing. I don't think it is fair to charge me to bill me for your service. There should at least be a way to signup for paperless billing, or a 3-6 month delay in the charge, but the only option for avoiding the fee is autopay. I am moving and about to change banks, so autopay is not the right setup for me at the moment. I would have only taken off 1/2 of a star for this but the survey wouldn't support 1/2 star.
Do not use guardian protection. $750 to cancel due to a move or $299+60 month contract to transfer services. Shady to hide this on last page of contract in fine print. “Cost is to recoup investment in your property” the panel is $50 android based OS which was outdated at time of install. Awful company and will never work with again.
