I purchased a new Trane HVAC unit from Green Air, a brand I chose specifically because of its strong reputation for reliability and quality. Unfortunately, within the first four years, a major component has already failed. Given the reliability typically associated with this brand, it honestly makes me question what exactly Green Air sold and installed in my home. What has been even more frustrating is the experience with Green Air’s service and billing practices. Despite the unit’s relatively short lifespan, they charged excessive fees for labor and repairs. Most recently, they billed me *double* the service fee just to come out and inspect... Most recently, they billed me *double* the service fee just to come out and inspect the issue. These charges feel unreasonable, especially given the circumstances. I strongly recommend that customers carefully review their invoices and question any unexpected or duplicated charges. Unfortunately, it feels as though the company may be taking advantage of homeowners Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience — both with the equipment’s performance and the company’s service.
