I highly recommend Gonsalvo and his crew for your car repair needs. I shopped around at a couple places in the DMV and ended up choosing GP Auto for their reasonable price and a recommendation from family. I needed to bring up my old 2001 car to DC inspection standards - Gonsalvo went above and beyond after repair and even took the car to the inspection for me to ensure it passed all marks.
I had a pre-purchase used car inspection done at GP Auto services. They got me in quickly, were very thorough with their inspection, and were reasonably priced. I will absolutely use them again for the same service as well as for my maintenance and repair needs in the future.
I am not one to ever leave reviews, especially negative ones. But I am a little bit frustrated and at a loss at this point. I had my dually pickup serviced here a few months ago. They were very friendly and reasonably priced. However, we had our truck aligned and it was not done properly for a dually. It has cost me one blown out front tire while pulling my trailer, plus now two brand new front tires have gone completely bald after just 500 miles of driving. We have taken it to another auto shop to check underneath the truck and they have told us that the alignment that GP auto service did caused all of the tires to bald/blow. It was done inc... I had an amazing experience here! They did a great job from start to finish, took the time to give me multiple options, and truly went above and beyond. Everything was explained clearly, and they walked me through exactly what they were working on, which I really appreciated. The service was fast, affordable, and honest (no pressure or surprises). It’s hard to find mechanics you can trust, but this is definitely one of them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and excellent customer service.
Wonderful service! Gonzalo is a true professional. He is super knowledgeable and easy to talk to in English and Spanish. I had some repair work done on my '01 Civic wheel after the last snow and ice storm. Immediately after the repair another issue came up with the car and Gonzalo took great care of me. Will definitely return and recommend.
