I only had bad experiences here. I had them replace a cracked windshield on 9/30/24. They needed several hours, so I had to arrange for someone give me rides. They ended up not having the windshield in stock but hadn’t called me to let me know, so I and my ride had arranged our days around this for no reason. I rescheduled. The replacement they did failed miserably. Four months in, it had multiple cracks caused by nothing. The glass is literally just crumbling in many places, unlike any windshield failure I’ve seen in the past. The warranty they offer covers the glass only. They still charge for labor and calibration, so the warranty replace... I only had bad experiences here. I had them replace a cracked windshield on 9/30/24. They still charge for labor and calibration, so the warranty replacement still costs 60% of the initial cost, and I assume they are going to put more crap glass in, so I debated if it was even worth the warranty discount. A week ago I made an appointment to give it another try today, arranged for rides, got there to find that, again, they don’t have the windshield and again didn’t bother to call me before my drop off time to let me know. The girl at the counter (this morning if management cares) was super rude when I asked why they wouldn’t call me ahead of time so that I and the person who was going to give me rides could avoid this waste of time. She should have apologized. No apology and she was even blatantly rude in tone! She said it’s company policy to order the windshield the day before regardless of when you made the appointment, have you bring the car between 8 & 9 am and THEN find out if they got the windshield after you’ve arrived. Cheap glass, terrible company policy/workflow that doesn’t respect clients time and rude staff. I’m not even going to bother with the warranty replacement. Going to pay a little extra to use a company that does better service. I also just read a lot of their other negative reviews, and others have reported the same problems - appointments cancelled without notice and really rude customer service gal. I suspect based on the number of positive reviews that they are one of those companies that solicits reviews when they know they’ve done good, and the average looks good despite that they aren’t nearly as likely to deliver good service as the reviews would lead you to believe. Edit: Just had this re-done elsewhere. I was anticipating a week of intensely strong glue smell, as that occurred when Glass Doctor replaced it. No smell with this one, so avoiding that chemical exposure is yet another reason I’m glad to have made a different choice.

Glass Doctor of Bozeman replaced my windshield three times—and each time there was a serious issue. • The first replacement was the wrong windshield. • The second had visible damage. • The third, which is currently on the car, is loose, leaking water, and physically coming off. On top of that, they lost trim pieces from my older vehicle—parts that are no longer made. I had to spend time and money tracking them down at junkyards, which came at a high cost. There was zero attention to detail throughout the process. After multiple visits, poor workmanship, and additional out-of-pocket expenses, I won’t be returning.

I got the best priced quote out of the 5 I checked across town. They gave me a quote, ordered my windshield, and got me in all in the same week. I dropped my vehicle off at 8am and by 11:30 got a message that it was done. It was great work and excellent service!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Glass Doctor of Bozeman! I was passing through Montana when I noticed a rock chip in my windshield and needed a quick repair. I called around to several places in the area, and Glass Doctor was not only the most affordable option, but also the most accommodating. Vinnie, the owner, took care of me personally and had my windshield repaired in under 15 minutes! The quality of work was excellent, and his professionalism and efficiency were impressive. It’s rare to find this level of service, especially when you’re just passing through town. If you need auto glass repair in the Bozeman area,...
