Brian, his wife and crew are exceptional! We decided to utilize them for our chimney from the previous owners and are ecstatic we made that decision. For our first inspection, we were given invaluable tips on wood burning, and keeping the chimney in the best shape possible, along with proper maintenance. Later, we had work done per their recommendation. The work done was repointing the chimney exterior, pouring a reinforced concrete crown with an overhang, applying a vapor-permeable water repellent, and performing exterior repairs( grinding and filling mortar joints)with the use of a bucket lift. They gave an accurate estimate for the work....Brian, his wife and crew are exceptional! We decided to utilize them for our chimney from the previous owners and are ecstatic we made that decision. I had two chimneys that were falling apart and no longer used.
Gilmartin Chimney was able to remove them down to the floor of the attic in two days using ladders and 5 gallon buckets. Another company I asked about doing this was going to spend a day just putting up staging and estimated a week to do the work. I am so glad I called Brian Gilmartin and his crew!!
