An absolutely fantastic cobbler! I dropped my boots off for a resole and they ended up recommending replacing the insole as well! The work was superb! They communicated updates through and I couldn't be happier with the end result! Positively top end work, I will be going here for years to come! I cannot recommend George's highly enough!!
I brought one of my favorite pairs of cowboy boots in because I had worn holes in the the soles of them. Since I wear them pretty much every day, I had George's put rubber soles in because they will last longer than leather. I was worried that the new souls would look cheap and "made-up" but honestly, I can't even say how happy I am with the job that they did!! They look brand new and the soles look actually better than the originals. They blend perfectly with my boots and are the exact shape and size of the originals. The boots are just as comfortable as they were before the new souls were put in and the workmanship is extremely beautiful,... The employees are always friendly & helpful. The price quoted for the repair is always reasonable. The item(s) are always ready as promised. I pay, in advance, with a check, but they accept credit cards & cash. George's is located within a shopping mall, but it's just inside the mall doors. There is handicapped parking & the mall entrance is handicapped equipped. I've never had a problem with finding a place, close to the entrance, to park. I'll continue to use their se... I love having a local spot for shoe repair. I've had many pairs taken care of, including some rather expensive shoes that I wanted to expend the wear. They came up with a perfect solution for the sole. Love these guys!
They put a lift in my husband's shoe. It's difficult to find a cobbler that will provide that service. It's an hour away from our home, but it's the closest we could find that would do a lift. They did nice work. The only negative is that it took six weeks. We'd go back though.
