I have a small table that has a leg broken off. I asked if it could be repaired or could I have help identifying the wood that it's made from. Just spoke with the owner and his response to me was "I'm going to have to pass on this, there just isn't any money in it." then he hung up on me. No help or guidance and very rude. No community support.

I have 4 pieces of furniture that I want to touch up - a kitchen tabletop, a wooden bench and side table that belonged to my husband’s grandmother, and a wine barrel. None of these pieces were expensive, but they are solid and instead of just tossing them away and buying more furniture, I wanted to get them refinished. Steve came over to look at everything. I felt like he didn’t think any of it was worth his time and he left without giving me any input as to what he thought I should do (have him fix it, fix it myself, or toss it). If I was willing to pay, why wouldn’t Steve give me the estimate and tell me it’s up to me if I wanted to spend it? This experience made me feel like if you don’t have super expensive heirloom furniture, then don’t bother contacting Geneva Restoration.
