Dan has been a fine woodworker for years, and he is becoming increasingly more artistic, too. We are so pleased with the bed footer table he created, complete with color coordinated legs. Dan’s pricing is so reasonable, too, considering his craftsmanship and thoughtfulness.
Beautiful and Thoughtful Work. Pure Craftsmanship. Sent our old rattan sofa and chairs to Gabel’s. David and his crew gave me options throughout the process and as you can see in the photos, transformed garage sale pieces to their original beauty. You can’t buy furniture like this and Gabel’s knows how to restore product to better than new. Working with Del Webber, they did an absolutely wonderful job. Gabel’s did an amazing job refinishing and repairing an old sears cedar chest for me that had been in storage for a very long time. The process with Chris was really smooth and I felt included in all of the decisions on different options to take - such as trim and stain colors. The whole process from drop off to pickup was about 6 weeks and they were very communicative and also very upfront about time frames and how much different parts of the project would cost which was really helpful! During the initial review of the chest, a lot of time and detail was spent looking at and evaluating how each part should be fixed and I could tell there wa... The Gabel's team is very knowledgeable about antique furniture and did excellent work refinishing an antique table that has a lot of sentimental value for our family. They also diagnosed and fixed some issues with the table (it wasn't level before). Their communication was great as well. Strongly recommend!
I just can't say enough about this shop. They did a superb job on restoring a walnut bench and 1830 French chair. It was a long process and expensive, but you do not take heirloom furniture to rent-a-center for repair! The gentlemen are professional, patient, and no pressure. They give good advice on how to proceed. So glad I found them and went there! Thank you.
