It is worth noting that the largest chunk is angled toward the house at the EXACT SAME spot the original porch needed to be repaired and there are practically boulders too heavy for me to remove.
Original:
I hesitated to write this review because they had agreed to a discount after admitting, in writing, that the final product "didn’t turn out as either of us had hoped" And the workers seemed, mostly, to be pretty good guys.
But after discovering a long crack this week and today, while attempting to plant fall perennials, finding very large chunks of concrete, broken brick and debris left throughout the yard, I felt that I really do need to warn people.
This is only a short list of the issues I experienced and problems I am left to face.
1. Did not lay brick in the quoted, agreed upon and signed scope of the project. They decided to do a cutout of the bricks to attempt to recreate the pattern that was expected. The result both looks messy and is still not as quoted.
2. Piled excavated dirt and debris several feet high and around the trunk of a hundred plus year old oak tree.
3. Caused significant damage to the tree, leading to rot, decay, fungal infections and an infestation of carpenter ants by removing the piled debris with an excavator.
4. Attempted to fix the concrete work on the stairs, twice, due to bad application and inconsistent drying. Also applied a skim in a failed attempt to blend the rework.
5. Left the concrete splattered over their own brick work, in chunks, and with gaps along house.
6. Poured concrete wash mix at the base of the tree.
7. Left glaring gaps in the mortar work of the brick and decided to fill them with a different color mortar in large sections.
8. Now the concrete has cracked from the house to the stairs
9. Very large chunks of concrete, broken brick and other debris was left turned in just under the soil, rather than removed as they quoted and claimed.
I wish that I had not even attempted to replace the existing porch that was cracked off and washing out because it looked better than it does now. I am left with a very expensive disappointment and more problems to fix.

The crew from Force Masonry did a great job repairing the brick planter on the front of our home as well as power washing our patio! They let me know when to expect them every day and got the job done quickly! I would highly recommend them for your masonry and power washing needs!
