I have done business with FGR for approximately 15 years. When the two brothers owned the shop I had several jobs done in varying degrees of prices. They were always reasonable, professional, and most of all trustworthy. I always knew what to expect because they would inform me by phone step by step. Suddenly they sold the business but one of the brothers appeared to still be working there. When I saw the one brother still there it gave me hope that I would continue to receive the Same excellent service. I was told by the new owners that the remaining brother was not in charge and that they would handle what I bought my car in for. It was a leaking transmission fluid approximately 2 years ago and I brought it back three times in a week because it continued to leak.I told the new owners that after all the years I had come here under the two brothers I never had to bring it back for anything they repaired. The new owner said sarcastically we’ll let the brother that was still there fix my transmission leak. He fixed it and hasn’t leaked since. That was the first incident. What made me come back and get my car after leaving it for two days was the unprofessional behavior of the new owners. I did take my car back because that one brother was still there. I needed a big oil job done to the engine. The new owners told me it would probably take two days. They didn’t follow any kind of protocol like a courtesy phone call or anything the first day.Almost the second whole day had past and I called to find out that they hadn’t even started on my car and had not called not once. It was as if I or my time did not matter. When I called the new owner was argumentative as if I had the nerve to be asking. I went and picked up my car because I had lost confidence in that shop of 15 years.I couldn’t trust it anymore. I could have understood if they had called and said we are busy and it may take longer than promised. It was those two days of not even a courtesy call that was my second red flag. I didn’t need a third.Even though the one brother was still there and I trusted him but he has to do what they tell him obviously. So I’ll never go back to FGR the new owner does thing very different from the previous owners. I’m heart broken too. Now I have to start over.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Sean was extremely rude to me. I spent $2600 having work done. I was told to return for an inspection, which I did. I told them there was still an issue that I had mentioned previously and they told me they would take a quick look. They called me and told me I needed spark plugs for $800 and I declined and then they told me now I would have a $150 fee. At no time prior was alerted that there would be a fee. When I arrived in a lyft, Sean refused to let me take the truck and discuss it with the owner or manager later. When I arrived in a lyft, Sean refused to let me take the truck and discuss it with the owner or manager later. I in fact was forced to pay, even though it was not disclosed to me that they would be charging me a fee to check their own work and I disputed the fee. If you are a female, I don't recommend going in there, especially if you don't like being treated the way a lot of mechanic shops treat women. I have been coming here for seven years and referred lots of family, if it's under new ownership or new management they need to fix it. Until then I will not be back.
