I’m really disappointed by their service. I requested a quote for two new fence gates, and after I received the quote, I double confirmed with them the quote was for two new gates. But when it came to the real work, they just built one gate and wanted to charge me more for the other. Their scheduling is a mess too. On the scheduled day I took a day off to stay at home but they never came, and they didn’t call to let me know that they are not coming. I called to reschedule and they didn’t come on the rescheduled day either. And when they came they didn’t care to let me know, and when they were done they just left silently, even if I requested them to let me know before they came and left. I really regretted hiring them, and don’t recommend their service at all — haven’t seen such bad contractors! In response to your comment below: A double gate (two swinging panels that meet in the middle) is treated as one functional opening, hence one gate. Regulations, HOA rules, and contractors usually count it as one gate! Do a google search, or ask other fence contractors, or ask ChatGPT, if you don't understand this. Stop playing the language game here!
+++ If you’re okay with uncertain timelines, lack of communication, and unprofessional customer service, then this may be the company for you. But if something goes wrong during your project, don’t expect much support—and I genuinely hope you don’t experience the same level of customer service that we did.+++ UPDATE: Our fence was finally completed on Day 4. I spoke with Shannon today, and the experience was extremely disappointing. When I raised concerns about the delays and inconvenience, I asked if it was fair to pay the full amount. She said yes, since an initial discount was already given. To be clear—this is not about the discount. It’s about accountability, communication, and how customers are treated when issues arise. At one point she said, “You know they’re humans, right? They need to take a break.” I made it clear I understand that—but this wasn’t about breaks. There were times the crew left entirely with no communication, and even their contractor, Jorge, didn’t know where they were. Initially, I was frustrated with the timeline and delays—but at this point, I’m even more upset about how our concerns were handled. The response we received was dismissive, defensive, and completely lacking accountability. What a horrible experience. When I explained that we hadn’t reached a resolution and may share our experience with the HOA, she responded, “Congratulations on the bad review.” That response alone speaks volumes. Instead of acknowledging the situation or offering a genuine apology, the entire interaction felt defensive, dismissive, and full of excuses. I was even told I was trying to hurt a small business, which is not the case—I simply expected professionalism and accountability. Day 1: Only two workers showed up to install our fence, despite the size of our large backyard. They worked all day but were only able to install four posts and a small section of fencing. We were told more workers would arrive the next day. Day 2: The day again started with just two workers. Additional workers didn’t arrive until late afternoon. At that point, more progress was made, and we were assured the fence would be completed that day. It was not. We were then promised completion on Day 3. Day 3: Once again, only two workers arrived in the morning. Very little progress was made throughout the day. By late afternoon, we noticed no one was on-site at all. After walking the entire perimeter and confirming no workers were present, we contacted Michael, who told us the crew was still there and would finish that day. They were not. We provided photo evidence showing that no one was on-site. We then contacted Jorge, who was also unaware of where his crew was. He arrived later that evening with one additional worker, but no clear explanation was given for the absence earlier in the day. They worked until approximately 10:30 PM, which we appreciate. However, this created concern due to neighborhood quiet hours, as loud equipment was still being used after 9 PM in our HOA community. Additionally, my husband felt the need to stay outside supervising the work late into the night to ensure it was being done correctly. This raises a serious concern: why are we, as paying customers, having to supervise the crew? We hired a company to manage this project, not to oversee it ourselves—especially at night. We were also told delays were due to large roots, but this explanation is difficult to accept given that more progress was made in just a few hours with additional workers than was made during entire days with only two workers present. As expected, the fence was still not completed, and we were again promised it would be finished on Day 4. We are investing a significant amount of money into this project, and it is not unreasonable to expect professionalism, proper communication, and timely completion. The level of inconvenience we have experienced is unacceptable given the cost of this service.
Very dissatisfied. Two appointments made only to be met with two no-shows that I had to call and follow-up. They took my gate as part of the arrangement to build a new one but did not show for the appointment. I was than told that I "will have to find someone else" when I was unavailable for the one day they gave me as the next available day. So disrespectful and poor customer service, plus they have my property! I offered a compromise on a timeframe and was told I would be called back to confirm and still no call. This is not how you treat people.
Edits to reply to their claims: I actually emailed you guys multiple times between March and now about not just this issue, but various issues we have had. I didn't receive a response until I took action. Also your "fix" was to drill another hole, so now we have 4 random holes on our gate - it looks TRASHY and now it doesn't close automatically like it used to because the latch is an inch lower. Yes this was an urgent issue because we have pets and the gate would not close! I have emailed them multiple times because multiple things have been wrong with our gates. This takes the cake because we can’t even fix it ourselves because they screwed two holes close together When I emailed I was told “oh we just got your email” but I have multiple emails to them about this issue
If I could give a negative star I would! Receptionist, Tammy, covers for subcontractor with excuses from flat tire to picking up supplies. Supplies not ordered and home owner asked to go pick up. Unfinished fence and no return to complete for 5 days! Total disaster! Steer clear of this fencing company. Overpriced, poor workmanship and unprofessional.
