I had a very disappointing experience at EZ Solution, North Liberty, IA, North Liberty, IA. On 09/12/25, I brought in my laptop for what should have been a simple fan replacement. Even though the issue was clearly explained, the employee insisted I pay a $100 diagnostic fee before they would even look at it. Later, I received a call saying the hard drive supposedly needed to be replaced instead, for nearly $300. When I went back to pick up the laptop, the same employee — who kept his face mostly hidden under a hoodie — seemed irritated that I asked to see the laptop powered on. The moment he turned it on, it made an even louder and more alarm... I had a very disappointing experience at EZ Solution, North Liberty, IA, North Liberty, IA. On my third visit, I simply asked whether the diagnostic fee could be applied toward the repair cost. At that point, the employee became hostile, raised his voice, threatened to call the police, called me names, and refused to complete the transaction until the owner arrived. I related this sad story to the owner, paid requested amount, and left the place without any apology.

I’ve been recently looking for equipment recommendations and advice on putting together a Homelab in my basement when I came across EZ Solutions, where I got in touch with Nate. He has spent considerable time and effort recommending the proper equipment and setup for me, while also preventing me from going overboard on things that I do not need, or know enough about to properly implement. The patience and knowledge demonstrated by everyone at EZ Solutions has most certainly saved me twice the amount of money that I would have ended up spending had I not come across them. They're located nearly three hours from me, but I was so impressed wi...
